Ham And Potato Soup


Ham and potato soup is a very delicious dish. The best part about this dish is that it is very easy to cook and you can always add some additional ingredients such as extra potatoes and extra ham.   • 2 cups of milk
  • 5 tbsp. of all-purpose flour
  • 5 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. black pepper and white pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. chicken granules
  • 3 ¼ cup of water
  • 4 cups of cooked ham. It must be diced.
  • ½ cup of chopped onion
  • ½ cup of diced celery
  • 4 cup of diced and peeled potatoes


  • Take a stockpot and add ham, onion, celery, and potatoes. Now, you need to boil it and cook it over medium it. You need to cook it until those potatoes become soft. It will take 15 minutes to 20 minutes
  • After this, add chicken bouillon, pepper, and salt to it. Stir them very well.
  • Now, you need to take another saucepan and then add butter to it. Melt it and then add flour to it. You can add a little bit of water. After this, stir this mixture very well. You will get a thick texture. Cook it for one minute and then add milk to it. Now, stir it very well and then you need to boil it for another 5 to 6 minutes.

  • Fresh black pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 tsp. chicken Bouillon
  • 2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cup of cooked ham. It must be diced.
  • 4 finely chopped garlic cloves.
  • 3 cups of diced and peeled potatoes
  • ½ cup of diced celery
  • 1 cup of diced and peeled carrot
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup of butter. It must be unsalted.


  • Take a medium-size pot and add butter. Melt it and then add celery, carrots, onion. Fry them for 5 minutes.
  • Add potatoes and ham and cook them for 4 minutes. After this, add garlic and fry for another 1 minute.
  • Now, add all the other ingredients and cook it for 10 to 12 minutes.
